Meet Grey Agenda Star Carly Capra

Actress:  Carly Capra plays Denise in Slo Rowe Entertainment's upcoming film Grey Agenda

How did you get involved with Grey Agenda?
Carly Capra:Larry Stanley contacted me in January about a role he thought fit me, the role of Denise.  We talked about the premise of the movie and the character and of course I said yes.

Tell us about your character
CC:My character Denise is the girlfriend of Tex.  She is an all American sweetheart and the love of Tex’s life.  Some of the story centers around her, her abduction and Tex trying to find her.  Without giving away too much of the story, she goes through some major personality changes due to some things that happen to her.

What kind of research did you do for your role of Denise in Grey Agenda?
CC:I watched movies like Dark Skies, The Fourth Kind, and The Astronaut’s Wife.  I studied the effects on people that have experienced alien abductions.  I also watched  a lot of Ancient Aliens and watched videos of  Phil Schnieder.  I tried to learn as much as I could about Grey Aliens and Government conspiracy theories related to them

You are one of the more experienced cast members of Grey Agenda, how did Grey Agenda compare to the other projects you have worked on?.
CC: The cast was much bigger than any film I’ve worked on. It was pretty organized, that is hard to do on any production.  I also worked behind the camera more during this production.  Oh, and there was food!

You worked with Robb  Hudspeth on Blood Reunion 3. How was it working with Robb again?
CC:It’s always a pleasure to work with Robb. I was really happy that he got the role of Dr. Pruitt.  We have great chemistry as actors together. It was fun watching him become Dr. Pruitt.

You were also an Associate Producer on Grey Agenda. This was your first time wearing that hat. What did you think about the behind the camera role?
CC:I definitely have a new found respect for the production side of things. In the beginning of production I wasn’t AP.  I started out just helping the crew wherever I was needed and that role grew on every set. It was a great experience and at times very trying , especially towards the end of production because we were just so tired from fiming for 4 monthsbut I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Carly staying alert between takes

Did you learn anything on the set of Grey Agenda?
CC: I learned so much during this production. Where do I start?  I learned behind the camera lingo, how to work the lights, cables, dimmers, reflectors, boom and slating.   I did some scheduling, make up, wardrobe and special F/X.  I learned about framing shots.  Patience is a virtue!

What was your Favorite Moment on set of Grey Agenda?
CC:There are so many. I love it when we have blooper moments.  We had fun with our Alien friends on set too.
Carly and Sandra Abernathy give the Alien Kisses

What was your favorite scene seen to shoot?
CC:One of my favorite scenes is when Beau Spencer and Victoria meet.  It is a short scene, but the dialog between them and what transpires really moved me. The major fight scene was very cool too.  Dog Pack Productions choreographed the scene for us.  It was scary at moments, no one got seriously injured. Larry poked  Robb in the eye with a gun, but it wasn’t serious.    The whole cast and crew put in 110% that day.  It was a very long day and the girls really impressed me. We were all exhausted and physically sore for days.

Looking at your Facebook page it says you’re dating Grey Agenda Director Larry Stanley. How was it trying to balance a relationship and indie film project?
CC:I think we balanced it well and made a good team.  We are also different people on and off set. We did our best to always remain professional on set.  I think we both became consumed with the project and the stress was felt toward the end.  But the fact we survived it speaks volumes.

Do you believe in Aliens?
CC: I think there is so much evidence that definitely proves we are not alone in this universe.

Let's say you get abducted, what is the first thing you think?
CC:I can’t say those words in this interview.  It would be along the lines of holy crap, I’m going to die. For the love of God! They are real!

Now let reverse the whip, you abduct a Grey Alien, what do you do to him?
CC:Well, if he was nice, I’d take him to Arby’s.
Must be a nice Alien

Any upcoming projects?
CC:Always.

After people watch Grey Agenda they will leave the theater saying......
CC:Give me more!!!

Grey Agenda's Mad Scientist Robb Hudspeth

Meet Grey Agenda Star Robb Hudspeth

Actor:  Robb Hudspeth plays Mad Scientist Dr. Pruitt in
Slo Rowe Entertainment's upcoming film Grey Agenda

Tell us about how you got involved with Grey Agenda
Robb Hudspeth: Grey Agenda Producer Suzanne Racz sent out an audition notice to the students in my acting studio (TBell’s).  I saw the breakdown and instantly zeroed in on Dr Pruitt.

How did you feel after the audition?
RH: I was asked to audition for some additional roles but wasn’t interested.  For me it was Dr Pruitt or bust, I felt like the part was written specifically for me.  I knocked that audition out of the park, where it landed in another park, bounced and then flew out of that one as well.

You play Dr. Pruitt, tell us about him
RH: He’s just a misunderstood genius who wants to make a better world.  If you want a beautiful garden sometimes you have to pull some weeds… and then you pull the guts out of those weeds.

Robb and guard Morris Jones getting ready for a take
What kind of research did you do for Dr. Pruitt?
RH: None,  Got it and understood him right away,  he’s JUST LIKE ME!

Dr. Pruitt has been called a mad scientist. Who are some of your favorite film mad scientist
RH: Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West in the Re-Animator movies, the Peter Lorre-like mad scientist in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons and of course Steve Martin in “The Man With Two Brains"

You also teamed up with Director Larry Stanley on the Films Mr.Happy Pants and An Innocent Hell. How does Grey Agenda compare to those?
RH: All of Larry’s previous films dealt with his sex life so it was refreshing to work on a film more firmly rooted in reality.

Robb and Larry are forced to dance at gun point on set.

You have also worked with several members of the cast before, how was working with such familiar cast?
RH: Everyone already knew I was a weirdo so I didn’t hold anything back, I wouldn’t dare disappoint them.

Looking at your imdb page it looks like you worked on Carter High, is that the biggest project you ever worked on?
RH: It was cool to have a scene with Charles S Dutton (Roc), so definitely the most accomplished actor I’ve had a chance to work with.

Are you a football fan? If so,what team (or teams) do you route for?
RH: Dallas Cowboys and SMU Mustangs.  I’m a homer.
Dr. Pruitt wondering Why these cages are empty
Your character Dr. Pruitt is obsessed with creating an Alien-Human Hybrid race. If you were creating a an Alien Human Hybrid race, who do you abduct?
RH:Carly Capra, Savannah Low and Sandra Abernathy… why mess with a good thing?

Do you believe in Aliens?
RH:I believe in a belief of Alien believability.

You can ask a Grey Alien one question, what would you ask?
RH:What is reality?

What was your most memorable moment on the set of Grey Agenda?
RH: The final fight scene.  I had bruises and a sore eye for days!

Any upcoming projects?
RH: Yes, really looking forward to the release of the web series “Yoga Garage” and “The Front” as well as some features that are currently in production.  please be sure to like my Facebook and IMDb pages to see what’s coming up!

After people watch Grey Agenda they will say:
RH: I really hope they find a way to bring that scientist guy back for the sequels!

Meet Grey Agenda Star Kasey Darlene

Actress:  Kasey Darlene plays Katie in Slo Rowe Entertainment's upcoming film Grey Agenda

How did you get involved with Grey Agenda?
Kasey Darlene- I found the casting online in a couple different places and decided to audition. I have been a ballet dancer since I was three years old, but I wanted to get involved in some more film acting.

Tell us about your character in Grey Agenda
KD-I see Katie as being kind of a sporty, all-American social butterfly. She also has an authoritative side that I (Kasey) haven't really had up until this point.

How does Grey Agenda relate to other projects you have worked on?
KD- My role in Grey Agenda was my first speaking role when it comes to acting so it was very exciting for me! There is some acting involved in ballet, but it's not quite like film acting.
Kasey's first day on the set of Grey Agenda

Really, first speaking role? How did you prepare for that?
KD- My dance partner who is also my best friend has done some acting and was so kind to help me with my audition script! Other than that, just plain old practice.

Grey Agenda has a seasoned cast and crew,  did they give you a hard time about being a newbie?
KD-No. Which was very kind of them. =)

What did you learn working on Grey Agenda?
KD-How detailed movie making can be. It's almost as detailed as ballet... almost... haha! Just kidding. Kind of. I also grew tremendously as an actress. My character was a stretch for me at times.

What did you expected your time on set to be like going in, what was it like in reality?
KD-I knew that it would be a pretty detailed job, but there were so many details that I just didn't think about until I got on set. Example: I am portraying a sporty character so I need to make sure I am not carrying myself like a ballerina princess... and that I don't mess with my hair too much so that it looks the same in every take. I also started with one of the most emotional scenes so I left the set feeling unusually emotionally tired.

What was your most memorable moment on the set of Grey Agenda?
KD-I guess I would have to say the first day. I just learned a lot about what it was like to have an important role on set and it was just a fun experience!
Kasey and Andrew Sather are watching the blocking for the scene

Grey Agenda is about Aliens, do you believe in Aliens?
KD-No, sorry. =)

O.K. SO you are driving down the road and a UFO lands in front of you, what do you do?
KD-Pinch myself. Pray.

What are you working on next?
KD-I have been doing a little bit of modeling and I am always dancing! In terms of acting, we'll just have to wait and see!

People leaving the theater after watching Grey Agenda will say?
KD-I'm going to be the artistic, open-minded person who says that it all depends on perspective. But I do think that Grey Agenda is going to be an entertaining movie for sure though that will keep us all on the edges of our seats. Especially me! We have been working on this so long and I am just so eager to see the finished product!
